Project Information
Brooklands is the flagship restaurant at the newly launched Peninsula Hotel at 1 Grosvenor Place, London.
The space was fitted out to an exquisite standard, themed around Sir Michael Kadoorie’s love for flight and historic automobiles. In the main dining room is a breathtaking 50ft long, machined aluminium homage to the first and only supersonic passenger jet: Concorde.
To the aft, a huge parabolic ‘window to the sky’, created by our bespoke multi-layered video display, creating the illusion of flight for diners. Our partners Studio Giggle built a real-time engine to generate beautiful sky gradients for the diffused LED, with vortices reminiscent of vapour trails and sonic booms to be projected on Holotronica’s Hologauze.
