Project Information

Brooklands is the flagship restaurant at the newly launched Peninsula Hotel at 1 Grosvenor Place, London.

The space was fitted out to an exquisite standard, themed around Sir Michael Kadoorie’s love for flight and historic automobiles. In the main dining room is a breathtaking 50ft long, machined aluminium homage to the first and only supersonic passenger jet: Concorde.

To the aft, a huge parabolic ‘window to the sky’, created by our bespoke multi-layered video display, creating the illusion of flight for diners. Our partners Studio Giggle built a real-time engine to generate beautiful sky gradients for the diffused LED, with vortices reminiscent of vapour trails and sonic booms to be projected on Holotronica’s Hologauze.

Our Delivery

Our involvement began right back at the ‘blank sheet’ stage, with a solid brief and a need to work out the ‘hows’ and design the technical elements and continued until the final handover to the client, with ongoing support as necessary.

We then provided:

  • 36 months of technical consulting, installation and support
  • Design & specification of all technical elements
  • On-site technical project management
  • Supply and installation of media servers, networking, signal distribution, LED and projectors

We're not just your technical partner,

we're your biggest fans.
